WHAT WE DO

We efficiently and effectively manage disaster and, strengthen partnerships to increase technical, institutional, and financial contributions for prevention, preparedness and response to disaster through soliciting funds locally and abroad by grant applications and or donations.

In addition to human activities disaster caused incidences, we ensure that our local community,Rubanda district & Uganda at large achieve fundamental elements of development by eliminating disasters.

We go to an extent of mitigating the effects of drought and floods through measures like improved use of climate and weather information and forecasts, early warnings system land and natural resources management, agricultural practices and ecosystem conservation in order to reverse current trends.

We recognize (United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, 2002) foresight, the international community committing itself to an integrated and inclusive approach of addressing DISASTER vulnerability and risk management THROUGH prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. URGENT APPEAL Our local area –Mugyera parish has been hit by the devastating!

 

URGENT APPEAL

This occurred on 10th September 2021. People need urgent assistance! We are therefore appealing for urgent funds /grants to be able to provide urgent critical life-saving needs to the people negatively impacted by the floods. These people need urgent food and other basic necessities.
